Access: You must be an active Midjourney subscriber and receive an invite to use the V7 alpha

To get started with version 7, you'll need to unlock your new V7 Global Personalisation Profile. This means you'll need to rank at least 200 pairs of images by giving a simple like or dislike. It takes a bit of time, but it helps Midjourney learn your visual preferences and tailor results to your style. This is the first model with personalisation turned on by default.

Once thatā€™s done, you can turn V7 on or off in the Midjourney web app, or through their Discord bot. Just select V7 from the version dropdown in the interface.

Once you've unlocked your Global Profile, you have the option to turn Personalisation off if you'd prefer.
